The wonderful Barry Ewart has put together a great fundraising event for Gambian Projects at the Queens Arms, Tamerton Foliot on Sunday 17th July from 2pm to 6pm. At the same time we are having an end of term party for our Gambian children and hope to link up by phone so sponsors can chat to their sponsored children and hear them sing a couple of songs. On Tuesday we welcome our volunteer, Holly Navara, a qualified teacher who is coming out to help us for a few months, can't wait to show her the Gambia!
Until next time, peace and love to all!

we are totally disillusioned. having donated £5000 no one has thanked us, no one tells us what is going and your chair has not the manners to reply to a letter
don't look for help next year
The white family
The White Family of Exeter very generously donated £5000 to Gambian Projects in memory of their son Nick. This has enabled us to undertake several extra projects this year, including building volunteer accommodation and extending the school building. We have imminent plans to refurbish the library at Kerewan Samba Sira Lower Basic School which is located in an area of extreme poverty. Huge thanks go out to Mike,Claire and James for their kindness and support.
Please visit our website at www.gambianprojects.com for information on our projects and details of how to help us continue to support the education and health of children living in very poor conditions. We welcome volunteers to come and assist us. Feel free to email Debbie in the Gambia at dwdebs@aol.com for information on how to help. Thank you for reading this blog. We look forward to hearing from you.
